Brown Deer Technology (BDT) is seeking candidates for the full-time position of software developer to support rapid prototyping and customer demonstrations using our generally-specialized custom RISC-V processor architecture.
BDT provides products and engineering services for high-performance and accelerated computing applications to government and commercial customers. With substantial investments in the development of software and hardware capabilities, BDT provides clients with solutions for leveraging the latest computational technologies. Recent areas of research and development include the development of generally-specialized RISC-V processors and co-processors for specialized applications including signal processing, artificial intelligence, and edge computing.
The selected candidate will be responsible for contributing to software development projects including the implementation and integration of numerical algorithms for targeted digital signal processing applications, the integration of hardware-in-the-loop simulations using FPGA co-processors, and the adaptation of a gaming engine to support a virtual test range for autonomous systems development.
For this position, US citizenship is required in order to comply with law, regulation, and executive order and is required by Federal government contracts.
